Question #1 - Our function is really important to us, can we discuss this with you first to make sure everything is covered, before we confirm any booking?
Answer to question 1. - Yes no problem, in some ways it is easier to discuss everything first, then we will confirm all we discussed by e-mail to make sure we did not miss anything.
Question #2 - If we confirm a function date verbally is this then booked?
Answer to question 2. - No, a booking is only a confirmed reservation once we have received a firm deposit (normally 50%), we then e-mail a confirmation receipt back, normally the balance is payable on the day of the function before start time.
Question #3 - Does your DJ cater for all tastes of music including the elder generation and can he/she turn the music volume down if we think it is too loud?
Answer to question 3. - We never forget we are working for our clients and it is your function, so we can play any requests or music for older tastes and of course if we are asked to reduce the volume we will happily comply.
Question #4 - We want a special package that is not listed on your prices page is this possible?
Answer to question 4 - Yes no problem, the packages are only a guide and we can discuss all your requirements and quote accordingly.
Question #5 - The venue we are booking does not supply lighting and we really want the occasion to look fantastic for our guests, does the DJ bring lighting?
Answer to question 5. - Yes, this is again discussed before your event so the correct lighting can be packed and the DJ may even know the venue, we have good experience of the types of lighting required for the size of venue booked.
Question #6 - How safe is your equipment, as the function is being held at an old manor house so we have to be careful on who we book?
Answer to question 6. - Very good question, you are right in asking this, our DJ's equipment and lighting has all been PAT tested and has the standard certificate of safety. Because the lighting is LED it draws very little power and does not get hot like some of the older lighting, this reduces greatly any risk of fire or a child/person getting burns by touching the lighting.
Question #7 - What happens if we are getting near the end of the function and we want the DJ to play on more as everyone is enjoying it so much?
Answer to question 7. - This will depend on the venues licensing hours and the DJ, if the venue has no objections and the DJ is happy then we are happy to do so, this has happened many times and the DJ will confirm at this time the rate per hour or part to continue.
Question #8 - Should for some reason we have to cancel the booking after paying a deposit, do we get our money back?
Answer to question 8. - Yes part of the deposit, 20% refunded of the 50% paid, only if it is 28 days before the function due date, unfortunately if cancelled under 28 days then the deposit is non refundable.
Question #9 - If your DJ does not arrive for our function do we get compensation?
Answer to question 9. - We have NEVER EVER had a DJ not turn up in all the time we have been going, but in the most unlikely event should this occur then we will be liable for only the return of the deposit / surcharge paid, with no further payment or compensation due.
